Wilcon started in 1977 as a 60-square-meter hardware store. As of December 2025, Wilcon is now boasting a 104-strong store network nationwide with an average size of 10,000 square meters per store and the only publicly listed company in its sector. Our
Humble Beginnings
In 1977, Wilcon started as a 60-square-meter shop along Quezon Avenue. It carried an extensive array of the latest building and finishing materials from international and local markets.
In 2003, Wilcon launched its first big-box format depot store in Las Piñas, with a complete selection of products and unsurpassed services. This was followed by continued geographic expansion, including Wilcon’s entry into Mindanao in 2002 and the Visayas in 2012, with its first Cebu branch in Talisay City.
In 2009, Wilcon established Wilcon Home Essentials, a mall-based format retail store designed for everyday home improvement needs. In 2023, this format was rebranded as Do It Wilcon, offering an upgraded, more convenient shopping experience for DIYers and busy homeowners.
In line with its commitment to innovation, Wilcon launched the My Wilcon App in 2022, enhancing customer engagement through digital shopping tools, real-time rewards tracking, and exclusive promotions.
In 2024, Wilcon reached a major milestone with the opening of its 100th store in Lubao, Pampanga, marking the completion of its #FlyingHighTo100 campaign. As of December 2025, Wilcon operates 18 branches in Metro Manila and 86 stores across Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, consisting of 93 depot stores, 10 Do It Wilcon branches, and 1 Premier Outlet.
