Grilled Chicken with Rosemary & Bacon
Ingredients:
- 4 teaspoons garlic powder
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 4 thick slices bacon
Grilling Steps:
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon garlic powder on each chicken breast and season with salt and pepper. Lay one rosemary sprig on each chicken breast. Wrap bacon around the chicken to hold the rosemary on. Secure bacon with a toothpick or an additional thick rosemary stem.
- Cook chicken breasts until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 8 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Stay near the grill to combat any flare-ups from the bacon. How To Clean Stainless Steel Grate
Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools and equipment like this Suncrust grilling grate are essential to optimize efficiency, prevent bacteria growth, and improve the food taste.
Check these quick and easy cleaning tips:
- Take time to cool down the grilling grates after using them. Once cooled, use a grill brush with nylon bristles to remove leftover debris.
- For deep cleaning, take the grates to the kitchen sink to soak for at least 5 to 10 minutes.
- Apply the cleaning solution and brush it using a brush. Continue brushing until it is clean. Reapply the cleaning solution and brush it if there's still dirt.
- Before putting the grate back on your grill after cleaning, rinse it thoroughly with water. Then, use a dry cloth or paper towel to dry.
Seasoned Grill Grates For Better Grilling
Seal the smoky grilled taste by seasoning your grill grates with these two easy steps.
- Apply high-heating cooking oil like canola or coconut oil to the grate's surface evenly before lighting the grill.
- Turn on the grill to high for about 5 to 10 minutes or until the oil begins to burn or smoke.
Doing these two quick steps before putting the food will help the meat, fish, and other grilled food not to get stuck and will be easy to pull off from the grate. Seasoning your grill grates will also help you achieve your desired tasty flavored, and picture-perfect grilled recipes.
How To Cook Using A Suncrust Smoke Grill
Achieve that tender, rich-flavored, and fall-off-the-bone texture of your grilled cravings by learning how to use your smoker grills from Suncrust.
- Light the charcoal or wood in the firebox. Fill your firebox with charcoal or wood fuel and light a fire. Open the air vents widely to ensure air may pass around the wood or charcoal. After that, let it heat for at least 5 to 10 minutes while aiming for a temperature between 225 to 250 degrees.
- Seasoned the grill grates and put the flavored barbeque on the grill. Apply high-heating cooking oil like canola or coconut oil to the grate’s surface; wait for 5 to 10 minutes or until the oil burns or smokes to achieve tasty flavored, picture-perfect grilled food. Then, put the flavored barbeque on the grill.
- Control and maintain the temperature. Use the temperature gauge feature of Suncrust smoker grill to determine the temperature of your grill without using a separate grill thermometer. To keep the temperature high, add charcoal or wood to the firebox. Then, open the air vent and smokestack damper to lower the cooking temperature.
- Give grilling time. Then pull off when it reaches the ideal internal temperature. Delicious barbeque takes a long time, so you’ll need patience, especially for whole or large-cut meats. Check your barbeques and continuously add oil or flavored mixture to keep the moist texture through and through. Then, pull off the barbeque when it achieves your desired tenderness, and voila, you have a tender, rich-flavored, and fall-off-the-bone texture barbeque ready to enjoy with your family and friends.
Time and patience are the keys to achieving your tasteful grilled recipes.
